New "Freight Claims Help Desk" to Assist IPG Customers!
IPG has implemented a new program to assist customers in filing a freight claim should a product become damaged in transit. This does not constitute a change to IPG's standard Terms and Conditions but is a value-added service that the company is glad to provide for it's customers.
TO INITIATE A CLAIM:

Your Claim information must include:
- Your Company name
- Name of the person making the claim
- Company phone number
- IPG order number (if known)
- Name of carrier
- Carrier Pro number
- Ship Date and Origin of IPG facility
- Nature of Incident (shortage or damage)
- Product and Quantity of product involved
Freight Claims Help Desk:
Once the form is properly completed and submitted, each claim will be issued a "claim number" which must accompany your payment. This will assure that your account has been properly credited. Using this process will also place responsibility for processing and collecting the claim on Intertape Polymer Group.
In order to preserve IPG's right to proceed with your claim: All delivery receipts must be properly signed. Improperly signed bills will not be accepted for this program and will remain the responsibility of the consignee. All damaged material must be returned via the delivering carrier. Failure to use the delivering carrier will invalidate the claim and void its eligibility in our program. Although the Consignee must still file claims for "concealed damage" directly with the carrier, IPG will be happy to assist you in filing your claim.
