4617 has an inert, temperature resistant, high tensile strength backing with an acrylic adhesive. Acrylic thermosetting adhesive system provides outstanding resistance to oils, solvents and chemicals. Its excellent conformability remains flexible after cure. This tape is ideal for inter-layer insulation, coil outer wraps, tie-downs, lead insulation and protection, and electrical motor and generator binding.
