Along with its high adhesion and resistance to tearing, this tape offers a rubber thermosetting adhesive system that gives it excellent solvent resistance. Applications include coil insulation wrapping, relay coverings, protective insulating wrap on solenoid coils, splicing on electrical transmission lines, making it ideal for motor repair shops for bundling and banding heavy gauge magnet wire.

461FR's woven fiberglass backing imparts high temperature resistance and thermal stability, and offers outstanding abrasion resistance for a large number of applications. The rubber based adhesive is self extinguishing, and this tape meets Ford Motor ESB-M3G38-A. It is ideal for harness and cable wrapping.
